Lottie's Location
We are inside the grounds of the Iberostar Creta Panorama and Creta Marine Hotels, about 20 km east of Rethymnon, on the main road to Heraklion. We are in the big harbour in front of the hotels. We are pinned correctly on Google Maps but the GPS directions might not take you the correct way at the very end! So when you reach the Iberostar Creta Panorama and Creta Marine hotels, please follow the directions on the this page;
How to find us
If you are driving by car, please park in the car park of the Iberostar Creta Panorama hotel. You must then walk down the hill (5 minutes walk) towards the seafront. When you reach the big harbour, you will see our yellow office on the pier and a big Lottie Watersports sign.
The Iberostar Creta Panorama and Creta Marine hotels, where we are based, are situated alongside the main coastal highway. If you are travelling from Rethymnon, in the direction of Heraklion, you should continue 300 metres beyond the hotels, (rather than turn left and have to cross the highway, which is not allowed), and there is a slip road on the right which then takes you underneath the highway, at which point you turn left and continue to the hotel car park. If you are travelling from Heraklion, in the direction of Rethymnon, you will drive past the turning for Panormos and continue on the highway for around 3 km. You will then see the hotel complex on the right, and you simply turn right off the highway, in front of the Iberostar Creta Marine hotel.
If you are coming by taxi, please instruct the driver to take you to the Iberostar Creta Panorama hotel; and then drive down the hill to Lottie Watersports. We are in the big harbour in front of the hotel. The taxi is able to drive all the way down to the harbour, please insist! If you wish, we can arrange a taxi for you.
Everyone is welcome! We are open every day, weather permitting, from mid April through until the first week in November. Our usual opening hours are 10.00 until 17.00.
Bus Route
There is a local bus, which operates between Rethymnon and Panormo.
The Iberostar Creta Marine/Creta Panorama is the penultimate stop before Panormo.
Catch the number 20 bus, which is the "Hotels Bus Panormo - (KTEL service)". You will see this on the sign at the front of the bus.
The bus stops at 9 locations:
Rethymnon -- Platanes -- Adelianos Kampus -- Pigianos Kampus -- Sfakaki -- Stavromenos -- Skaleta Market -- Iberostar Creta Marine/Creta Panorama -- Panormo

Tickets can be bought at your hotel reception and street kiosks. Please note that you must buy a ticket before you get on the bus.
Approximate travel time 30 minutes from Rethymnon to Iberostar Creta Marine/Creta Panorama.
Please bear in mind that it is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop to the Iberostar Creta Panorama hotel; then another 5 minutes walk down the hill to the big harbour where Lottie Watersports is located. Also, the bus often runs late. So please allow plenty of time for your journey. It might be best to come by taxi (we can book a taxi for you) and then take the bus for your return trip, when there is no time pressure.
