Boat for Rent

Rent a boat and explore the beautiful coastline in your own private boat.

The boat for rent is called “Glaros”, which means seagull in Greek, and is 5 metres in length. Glaros can comfortably seat 6 people.

The maximum recommended weight for all passengers is 550kg, although this will require the sea to be calm.

If there are waves, we recommend no more than 4 people. If the waves are too big and the sea conditions are not safe, we will not rent the boat. Safety is our number one priority.

The rental boat has a 30hp, 4 stroke, Tohatsu outboard engine, with power trim.

You do not need a boat licence to captain the boat.

The boat rental price also includes a free lesson. One of our experienced captains will give you professional instruction.

The captain will give you a thorough explanation and then travel in the boat with you for a few minutes, to demonstrate how to control and navigate the boat.

It is very easy and when you are comfortable, you can then depart alone in the boat. You can begin your voyage and venture along the wonderful coastline.

You are permitted to travel around 5km along the coastline to the east of our location and/or 5km to the west; so you can travel a circuit of around 20km.

You must stay in sight of the shore, so no more than about 500 metres out. We will provide you with a map which illustrates the limits of where you can go and some beautiful places.

For your peace of mind, the boat for rent is fitted with a GPS tracker, which allows us to monitor your location at all times.

There is also an SOS button inside the boat, which sends an alarm to our office, in the unlikely event that you encounter any problems.

The rental boat has an anchor so if you wish, you can stop and swim or snorkel. If you wish to snorkel, please bring your own equipment.

There are steps into the boat, so it is easy to climb back inside after swimming.

We will give you advice on some lovely places to visit during your boat rental experience. We suggest that 2 or 3 hours is enough time to explore the whole area.

There is a retractable cover (canopy) on the boat, to protect you from the sun.

The boat for rent is available every day, (weather permitting), from 10.00 until 17.00.
